Al Zink joins team to evolve company culture and scale employee programs

BOSTON – (April 18, 2018) – One Door, the leading provider of cloud-based merchandising software for retail, welcomes former Care.com leader Al Zink as Vice President of People and Culture. With over 30 years of experience building human resources teams for global enterprises, Zink will help manage One Door’s growth as the company scales.

“We’ve consistently made a healthy and thriving culture our top priority, and as a recognized, local leader in human resources management, Al is a terrific addition to our team.” said E.Y. Snowden, CEO of One Door. “Human resources should go beyond talent acquisition and paperwork, and this new position is an investment in our people. We’re extremely proud of our inclusive, collaborative culture, and excited to have Al’s experienced hand to guide us as we grow. Plus, with his collection of ugly holiday sweaters, he’s a lock to win at our annual holiday party.”

At Care.com, Zink served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources where he helped to grow the company from 130 to 800 employees, increase its global office footprint through acquisitions, and guide its people through a successful IPO. Zink also oversaw human resource initiatives globally, including talent acquisition, education and professional development resources, and policy and HR infrastructure. Before joining Care.com, Zink held leadership positions in human resources at Boston Power, BirdDog Solutions, Compete Inc., Upromise and Thomson Dialog Worldwide.

“One Door’s commitment to its people is the best, bar none, and it’s what attracted me to the organization,” said Zink. “I’m excited to dive in and guide the team as we grow, and continue our work to cultivate a company culture where everyone can get involved. The team has laid the groundwork for a strong, collaborative environment and I’m looking forward to strengthening our value-based culture as we scale.”
