Boston, MA – May 20, 2025 — One Door, the leading provider of cloud-based visual merchandising software, today announced it has successfully achieved System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification, reinforcing its commitment to data security, operational integrity, and customer trust.
This milestone builds upon One Door’s previously attained SOC 2 Type I certification, marking a major step forward in the company’s long-term security and compliance roadmap. While the Type I audit evaluated the design of One Door’s security controls at a single point in time, the SOC 2 Type II certification independently validates the effectiveness of those controls over an extended audit period, ensuring ongoing operational excellence.
“Achieving SOC 2 Type II compliance is a great milestone for One Door, and reflects the maturity and rigor of our security and privacy practices,” said Prem Jacob, Chief Technology Officer at One Door. “Our retailer customers entrust us with sensitive execution and store data across thousands of locations. This certification gives them even greater confidence in our organization’s ability to protect that data consistently and continuously.”
The audit, conducted by an independent third-party CPA firm, evaluated One Door’s systems against the AICPA’s Trust Services Criteria for:
The certification applies to the core One Door platform, including, importantly, the maintenance of the underlying retailer Digital Store Model, which is critical to delivering precise, localized, and secure retail merchandising execution.
“SOC 2 Type II isn’t just a badge—it’s proof that our security practices are lived, not just documented,” added Jeff Rudolph (Senior Director, Cloud Operations). “This certification is foundational to our ability to support large, distributed retailers with enterprise-grade security.”
